Peddler Permit Application (temp stand / truck)

Peddle - Operation of a temporary stand, display or similar facility for the purpose of attempting to sell a good or service. Temporary stand is selling from a stationary location being from a table, trailer, truck, etc.

Peddlers may only operate on private property with prior approval from the property owner. Peddlers may not operate on a public street, sidewalk, etc.

The City of Fairway's Municipal Code requires that all peddlers complete an application and be issued a permit to peddler within the city limits. Permits are required for each individual/peddler working the temporary stand. The fee is $50.00 for the first peddler and $25.00 for each additional peddler working the same temporary stand.  Upon completion of the permit application and payment of the permit fees, a background investigation is conducted, if the individual passes the background check a permit will be issued. The permit is a laminated photo ID that the peddler is required to wear on their person at all times while peddling within the city limits.
