Budget 2027

Budget Process Schedule:

April-May: Department Directors and Committees develop budgets; first draft of budget reviewed by Administration and Finance Committee (consisting of the full City Council) at May meeting.

June: Further review during Department Committee meetings; draft of budget reviewed by Administration and Finance Committee. July-August: Further review during Department Committee meetings and Administration and Finance Committee meetings; valuation report received from County; Budget Public Forum. September: Budget Public Hearing and Final Budget considered by City Council during regular Council meeting.

The final 2027 Budget must be submitted to the County by October 1st.  Visit www.fairwaykansas.org to view the Meeting Calendar and the draft budgets as they become available.
