Q: I’m a returning member from the 2022 season, do I get new membership cards?
A: No, you will use the same cards as the 2022 season (new cards will be printed before the 2024 season, if you renew your membership). If you have lost them, we can print new cards for $5.00 per card (can take 1-2 business days before they are ready). Email rreis@fairwaykansas.org for new cards.
Q: I’m a new member for 2023, how do I get my membership cards?
A: Please email photos and names of each person on your membership to rreis@fairwaykansas.org. It can take 1-2 business days before they are ready once the photos are received. All of this information was provided on your registration and receipt.
Q: I have purchased my membership and have sent photos, but have not received my cards. If I go to the pool and pay the daily fee in the meantime, can I be reimbursed for the entry fees I paid?
A: No. You MUST have your membership card to enter the pool using your membership.
Q: If I forgot or lost my membership cards, the front desk staff can just look up my account, right?
A: No. If you do not have your membership cards, you will be charged the daily fee to enter the facility. Pictures/screenshots of your membership cards will not be accepted. Front desk staff, who are normally our youngest staff members, have been instructed to follow this protocol. Any frustration directed at the front desk staff will not be tolerated and your membership will be subject to suspension and/or termination.
Q: I’d like to bring friends/family that are not Fairway Pool members, how does that work?
A: They would simply pay the daily rate of $6.00 for Fairway residents or $9.00 for non-residents. Children 2 years and under are free.
Q: Does the Fairway Pool Snack Bar take credit cards?
A: Yes! We also sell Fairway Snack Bar Cards that you can pre-load to avoid handling cash/change. Snack Bar Cards can be purchased and pre-loaded at the Fairway Pool Snack Bar.
Q: Can I bring food and drinks into the facility?
A: Yes, as long as the drinks are non-alcoholic and the food/drinks are in a container that is NOT made out of glass.
Q: Does the Fairway Pool have lockers?
A: Lockers are available along the outside wall of the family restrooms and shower rooms, but locks are not provided (you may bring your own). Fairway Park & Recreation is not responsible for any lost or stolen items throughout the facility, including the lockers.
Q: Is alcohol, tobacco, electronic tobacco, vaping products or any illegal substance permitted in the facility?
A: No. Use of these products will result in staff contacting the police immediately and without warning.
