Planning Commission Application
A site plan review before the Fairway Planning Commission is required for any construction activity in the R-1 district that either:
- Adds to or replaces a portion of the structure on more than fifty percent (50%) of existing building footprints;
- Adds an entirely new principal building to a lot;
- Any application, regardless of the size or impact of the project, that requests an exception to the Dimension Standards in Section 15-296 or the Site Design Standards in Section 15-297.
The Planning Commission meets on the last Monday of the month as needed. Contact Staff to confirm application deadlines and submittal standards required for the project to be placed on the agenda. Please note: PC applications and site plans must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the meeting date.
Please note: After Planning Commission approval the project must apply for a building permit. No work is to take place without an issued building permit card posted at the property. Work without a permit will result in a STOP WORK order and TRIPLE the permit fee.
